PivotStor Names John Boyken as Vice President, Worldwide Sales

SAN DIEGO, March 6, 2008 — PivotStor™ (www.pivotstor.com), a global supplier of best-of-breed data protection solutions, coupled with proven reliability and cost-effective performance, today announced the appointment of John Boyken as the company’s vice president of worldwide sales.

A 15-year veteran of Overland Storage, Boyken served as that company’s vice president of Americas sales, developing an aggressive distribution channel program that ultimately contributed more than one-third of the publicly-traded company’s revenues.  He also increased Overland’s reseller channel by eight-fold to more than 200 partners, and was responsible for the company’s catalog and government channel programs.

Boyken also helped establish Europe as a major profit center for the company, expanding its presence throughout four countries, including the United Kingdom and Germany, and drove sales to more than $30 million annually.

At PivotStor, Boyken will be responsible for building out the company’s sales force and directing its channel sales strategy.  “John’s extensive experience will help us identify key opportunities, and build out our infrastructure to take advantage of them,” said Jack Corrao, PivotStor’s President and Chief Executive Officer.  “We’re pleased to have a proven sales professional heading our effort, and look forward to having him help us grow our company.”
